To capture the scents from the opening of the trunks, Marc-Antoine chose the most stubborn material in perfumery: oud wood essence. Distilled since the year 1000, its fragrant resin results from an attack on the wood of the Aquilaria, after a very slow process evolving over several decades. This sumptuous liquid gold, used here in overdose, then deploys all its panache. A wild floral, the narcissus exalts the insolent character of Ruade with its mane note and its straw effects. The absolute of cut hay lends its power to the evocation of hay straws whose scent saturates the air and drives horses crazy.
