In homage to the highest peaks in the world and the mountaineers who dare to climb them in extreme conditions, this Montblanc 1858 Geosphere 0 Oxygen The 8000 is housed in a 42mm titanium case entirely devoid of oxygen. This has several benefits for explorers by eliminating fogging and preventing oxidation, allowing the movement to last much longer with greater precision. The timepiece is powered by the MB 29.25 automatic movement with in-house world time complication, which includes the time of the 24 time zones readable on the luminescent continents of the 3D rotating globes of the northern and southern hemisphere, the day/day indication night, display of the second time zone and the date. The timepiece also features a bidirectional notched black ceramic bezel with luminescent cardinal points, a dark gray Sfumato dial with a “glacier” motif decorated with orange accents, and an interchangeable beveled titanium bracelet with fine tuning. The case back of this model is equipped with a 3D laser engraving of the K2 mountain, depicted with incredible color, depth and realism.
